Staying at this hotel with my large family, including my niece, was pretty enjoyable. We loved the location, just five minutes from the charming marina where we took a boat trip to Isla Saona—it was a blast watching the fish jump and the birds fly around!

The location was prime,. Overlooking the sea and small harbor, we loved relaxing here. Staff were always around and helpful whenever we needed something. The breakfast options were plenty and tasty, with a cool little cafe nearby.

One area for improvement would be to offer more evening entertainment options, as there weren't too many activities available after dark.

I got a great deal at Hotel Bayahibe. The twin room had two big, comfy beds and a small balcony with a sea view. I loved relaxing out there after a long day. The location near restaurants and the marina made it easy to hop on a boat to Isla Saona. On the downside, some reception staff were unhelpful when I needed information about local transport. The bathroom lighting was dim, and the Wi-Fi only worked in the lobby, which was a hassle. Be prepared for early mornings due to the roosters crowing around 5 am – definitely bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper! Still, happy with the value and the vibe of Bayahibe, especially if you're into local culture and stunning views.
